MUSINGS FROM MARIJO - A WORD FOR OUR PRESIDENT
The world is getting ready for winter - for many of us, that means more time inside for stitching. I hope all of you have a stash of projects to hold you through the winter. I certainly do.

Remember to keep Saturday, February 13, open to stitch at the Grand Rapids Museum. This will be the third year we will be doing something at the museum. We always have a good time and it's good publicity for us.
As you can see from this abbreviated newsletter - we still need an editor. Please consider doing this for our group. EGA runs on volunteers. What can you do?
Remember our Christmas party is the second Thursday in December this year. It will be the same place as last year. We'll start with a short business meeting to okay the budget and install officers. We will be collecting mittens, hats, and scarves for In The Image. We will also be exchanging ornaments. I hope to see you there.

CHAPTER BYLAWS UPDATE
Our chapter approved several amendments to our bylaws at the October membership meetings. The amended bylaws were then sent to National for its approval. Thanks to our Bylaws Committee - Margie S., Vonnie H., and Peg H. - for its help in reviewing and revising our bylaws. We will not need to review our bylaws again until 2019.

JANUARY MEETINGS
Both the day and the night groups will work on Habitat samplers. Bring white or off-white 14 or 28 count fabric to work on (cut at least 12" by 14") and DMC 798 and 912. Patterns will be provided. Bring the usual stitching supplies.
